Barcelona, Spain

We made it back safely to the US of A, and into the waiting arms of our children- well, not quite. I'm pretty sure the kids wouldn't have minded if we'd been gone longer. They got treated exquisitely by grandma and grandpa- to put it lightly. All of their favorite home baked treats on request, card games every night, not 1 but 2 trips to McDonalds for C- the 4 year old. It's kind of funny how one little persons idea of paradise can be another persons (his mother) idea of disgusting hell. Grandma was kind enough to oblige him. A huge thank you to Jan and Owen for filling in are parental units, and doing such a bang 'em up job!

Anyway, here is some cool felt work I came across in Barcelona. This gals shop is in the neighborhood of the Picasso Museum, I was so happy to have stumbled upon it. All of her amazing felt goods are displayed in the front of the shop, she makes everything right there in the back- you can watch her a work. I believe her name is Mariela Marabi, her store is called Almacen Marabi, you can see more of her wares on her blog.

I also love this chick's stuff, her website is cute- I got some of her hair clipys.

I can't wait to hear all about it. I can't believe that you've already left and come back. Where was I? Certainly, not there-- though I wish I was. Call me and recap!
