a long time coming
I have been wanting to make a jeweled Christmas tree for years now. My mother-in-law has one she made back in the day... that even has lights on it. I have been haphazardly collecting costume jewelry in pursuit of someday getting around to it for years too. I finally got my crap together in January- got a frame, some fancy fabric, made a few final ebay costume jewelry lot purchases and as February approached.... decided to make a heart instead. I still plan on making a Christmas tree, I mean really- who can have too many of this type of fancy decor in their house? (maybe I need to make an Easter egg and a pumpkin too) Just kidding and I'll tell you why, this crazy heart, when all the numbers are in- was not cheap. Myself and then my posterity better cherish this little baby forever, I'm talking specific mention in the will, custody battles and so on.

Noelle, I think you should leave this for Aunty Les in your will, I love it!!!
I love the Easter egg idea. I just might have to do it! I recently received my birthday present from my loving sister. It was a Noelle O apron. It is adorable! I will think of you as I make my scrumptous dinners.
it's just plain beautiful!!! I'll have you know I'm joining the blogging bandwagon, I'll let you know when I'm up and running
talk about drift wooding...this is drift sparling, blinging, loving. Yowze! Can't wait to see the pumpkin.
Love it! I like it best as a heart, I think. So sparkly and pretty...
Did you see the post about my mother-in-laws christmas tree one, I'm going to fight for that baby I tell you what. Your heart is very cute. I didn't even think about trying to make my own, that's a good idea but you are right probably not cheap.
Hello, I came to you through colett and had to comment because I am collecting jewlery for a Christmas tree too! My grandma is slowly giving me hers as she gets rid of everything, I am intimidated by the amount of effort it will take. I love this, maybe I will do a flower or something. BEAUTIFUL JOB!!
Very nicely done ! Plenty of time and tlc went into this and it shows ! I'm sure it will become a cherished family piece for many years to come.
I made a Christmas Tree for a Christian Womens Auction and ironically I have wanted to make myself one for over 20 years...now I am going to do..I already bought the frame and have tons of jewelry from Good Will and this will motivate me..I was also thinking of doing my last name initial to keep up all year..love the heart idea..hugs, cheryl
